Major Squad Changes at Barcelona? Three Key Players on Hansi Flick's Blacklist

While Barcelona confidently marches towards the La Liga title, coach Hansi Flick isn't shying away from making crucial decisions. According to Spanish media, he has a surprising list of players he's willing to part with during the season. Furthermore, a massive offer for a new Catalan gem is brewing in the background.

The experienced German coach, alongside sporting director Deco, has made uncompromising decisions aimed at stabilizing the club's finances and creating room for summer reinforcements. According to sources close to Camp Nou, three players have been given permission to seek new clubs.

The biggest surprise is the inclusion of Alejandro Balde and Jules Koundé on the transfer list. While both have been defensive mainstays for Barcelona until now, Hansi Flick is reportedly looking for players with a different profile. The name of the third player on the list is also shocking: Dani Olmo, who was expected to be a cornerstone of the new project.

However, the management's decision does not automatically mean the departure of these players. According to the television program El Chiringuito, the club's primary goal is to generate funds for new transfers while adhering to salary cap regulations.

Barcelona Receives Massive Offer

A frenzy has also erupted around Fermín López, who has enjoyed a phenomenal spell. In 39 appearances, he has scored 12 goals and provided 16 assists. His outstanding performance in the Champions League against Newcastle (a goal and an assist in a 7-2 victory) has led to an irresistible offer landing on Deco's desk.

Manchester United is reportedly prepared to pay up to 100 million euros for the 20-year-old midfielder. Although Barcelona officially states that they have no intention of parting with the Spanish talent, with whom they recently extended his contract until 2031, financial pressure could change their stance. If this transfer were to materialize, the club might not need to offload any other players.

Despite the planned departures, optimistic news is also emerging from the reigning La Liga champions. It appears that for the first time in four years, the Catalans could fall within the salary limit. This grants the sporting director greater freedom, yet paradoxically, it might accelerate the sale of players like Koundé or Balde to utilize the acquired funds for high-profile transfers.
