Major boost for De Zerbi as Tottenham eye third consecutive victory

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi will have James Maddison and Destiny Udogie available for the London derby against Crystal Palace, where Spurs will be targeting a third consecutive victory. The midfielder found the net against Coventry but was forced off in the derby against Chelsea, sparking fears of another serious injury. Meanwhile, Udogie suffered an injury against Manchester United and missed the last two matches. However, both players are now at De Zerbi's disposal, providing a major boost for the Italian.

"James is available. Maddison didn't train fully with the squad this week, but he is ready for tomorrow. He is a special player for us and possesses unique qualities. Udogie is also available. He is another player who has had his fair share of injury issues. Tosin Adarabioyo, Lucas Bergvall, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Savio are still out. Everyone else is available," De Zerbi said at his press conference today.

Crystal Palace head into the fixture following a 5-0 thrashing by Brighton and a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle, which have piled the pressure on Pierre Sage. While Roberto De Zerbi understands the scrutiny that comes with a difficult run of results, he remains full of praise for the French coach.

"I know Pierre Sage very well. He is a very good manager. I've known him for a long time—from his time at Lyon and also from last season at Lens. He really is a great coach. I watched their matches against Fulham, Besiktas, and Newcastle. The team is very much alive," De Zerbi added.
