One of the dominant storylines of the upcoming NBA offseason will undoubtedly be the future of Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Various teams are reportedly showing strong interest in acquiring Giannis, both during last season's trade deadline and looking ahead to the new season. Unexpected suitors may also emerge.
According to NBA analyst Kirk Goldsberry of The Ringer, the Magic are among the teams pursuing the two-time MVP.
"I even heard there's a mystery team," Goldsberry stated on "The Bill Simmons Podcast." "As part of this process, I made some calls to see who Giannis's potential destinations might be, and someone in the know told me that Orlando has been very active in trying to secure Giannis Antetokounmpo's services."
Antetokounmpo does not have a no-trade clause in his contract and holds a player option worth $62.8 million for the 2027-28 season. As of October 1st, he will also be eligible to sign a four-year contract extension with Milwaukee, valued at $270 million.
