Maccabi Secures Major Reinforcement: NBA Player Signs with "The Pride of Israel"
The former Atlanta Hawks guard has signed a two-year deal with "The Pride of Israel," which will see him earn a total of 2.5 million euros.
As a versatile combo guard with solid NBA experience, Wallace arrives to cover multiple positions in the backcourt. He is expected to primarily share minutes and playmaking duties with fellow countryman Jimmy Clark, who was one of the standout performers last season, averaging 9.5 points, 4.3 assists, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game.
Before breaking into the highest level of basketball, Wallace successfully played for the prestigious University of Texas. His path to the world's strongest league was gradual; from 2021 to 2024, he gained much-needed experience in the G-League, playing for the developmental teams of the Los Angeles Clippers and Atlanta.
Patience paid off, as he was a regular member of the Hawks' first team in Georgia for the past two seasons. In the last NBA season, he spent just over 12 minutes per game on the court, averaging 4.2 points, 2.1 assists, and 1.3 rebounds per contest.
