Lukebakio: Benfica's Belgian winger holds Allianz Arena record highlighted by Bundesliga
Dodi Lukebakio played for several clubs in Germany before making the switch to Sevilla and eventually joining Benfica in the summer of 2025.
The recent clash between Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig in Munich revived memories of the current Benfica winger, who left an enduring record at Bayern's fortress.
No visiting player in Bundesliga history has scored more league goals at the Allianz Arena. Only former Werder Bremen striker Markus Rosenberg has matched his tally of four goals at Bayern's home ground.
In total, Lukebakio scored six goals against Bayern—an impressive achievement in its own right—with four of them coming in Munich: a hat-trick for Fortuna Düsseldorf and one for Hertha Berlin, the club he represented until the 2022/23 season.
That record, however, was under threat this past weekend from RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku, who sat on three goals in Munich and had the chance to match or surpass Lukebakio and Rosenberg.
The milestone was widely discussed across the German media before and after Saturday's clash. Bayern's dominant 6-1 demolition left Nkunku off the scoresheet, keeping Lukebakio and Rosenberg's joint record intact for a little longer.
