Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic has delivered encouraging news to fans regarding his physical condition.
The Slovenian guard shared that he feels in excellent shape after taking a well-deserved break following the end of the season.
"I took a break from basketball for the first few weeks after the season ended, dedicating that time to my body's recovery. The process was successful, and now I'm back to 100 percent healthy," Doncic stated.
He also revealed his unique approach to offseason preparation.
"I always start my offseason by stepping away from basketball activities first. It might seem a bit unusual, but it works well for me. When I create that artificial break and start to miss the game, it only boosts my motivation and desire to return," the Slovenian added.
Doncic missed the 2026 playoffs due to a Grade 2 hamstring strain, an injury he sustained on April 2nd.
