Oladele John is sad that Gloria is leaving

The young man trekking from Abuja to Otueke in Bayelsa State to honour President Goodluck Jonathan is a sad man because his female companion has left him.

The young man who is embarking on a trek from Abuja to Otueke, Bayelsa State, the hometown of President Goodluck Jonathan, to honour him as the hero of democracy, Oladele John Nihi, is a sad man a he continues on his journey.

The reason for his loneliness is that the female partner who joined him on the trek, Gloria, has been forced to go back because her parents are not happy with her decision and want her to stop, and like a good child, Gloria has decided to go back to her Abuja base in respect of her worried parents.

Gloria, according to Nihi, trekked for over 100 kilometers with him before the pressure from her family forced her to go back.

But that has not stopped Nigerians pouring encomiums on the courageous girl, though many are reading meanings into Nihi sadness.

First, Gloria used her Twitter handle, #WeWantRealChange, to announce her departure while the lonely Nihi, also used his, #TrekForGEJ, to announce his sadness.
