Fighting in front of his home crowd in South Dakota, Storley delivered his characteristic gritty performance to earn a unanimous decision victory over Florim Zendeli in the PFL Sioux Falls headliner on Sunday morning.

As expected, Storley utilized his wrestling to neutralize Zendeli for three rounds, a task made easier by referee Kevin MacDonald deducting two points from Zendeli in the very first round.

Storley secured the unanimous decision with scores of 30-25 across all judges' cards. The former interim Bellator welterweight champion bounced back from a disappointing loss to Thad Jean in the 2025 PFL tournament final and now boasts four wins in his last five bouts.

The opening round was classic Storley – he took the taller Zendeli to the mat and began to work his grappling. Zendeli managed to scramble to the cage, but the situation only worsened for him when MacDonald swiftly penalized him for grabbing the fence. MacDonald's decision clearly didn't deter Zendeli, as he again grabbed the fence to counter Storley's grappling, prompting the referee to immediately deduct another point. After five minutes, Zendeli found himself in a deep 10-7 hole, with only 10 more minutes left to work.

Zendeli showed signs of life in the second round, landing a few good strikes on Storley when the fight was standing, but Storley consistently found openings to take him back to the ground. Although Storley had some blood on his face before the third round, the damage was mostly superficial.

In the third round, Storley was more patient, but midway through the round, he secured another takedown, and Zendeli's chances of a comeback evaporated. Storley, now with a record of 19-4, then expressed his gratitude to the Sioux Falls crowd in his post-fight interview.

“South Dakota, thank you so much,” Storley said. “From the first fight until now, every time I go into camp, every time I fight, I do it for you. For this state. The greatest state. So thank you for coming out.”
