Arsenal have not won a league match at Anfield in 14 years, yet they have suffered just one defeat in their last eight Premier League meetings with Liverpool. The champions will also be eager to bounce back following a shock Carabao Cup exit in midweek, where they were knocked out on penalties by fourth-tier Fleetwood Town.

Andoni Iraola has made seven changes from the heavily rotated side that featured against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup. Compared to last weekend's clash with Brighton, there is just a single adjustment: youngster Trey Nyoni gets the nod ahead of Ryan Gravenberch, who has struggled for form lately. Dominik Szoboszlai and Victor Munoz return to the matchday squad after missing the last three fixtures through injury, though both start on the bench.

Mikel Arteta has made five changes to the starting line-up that defeated Everton a week ago. Jurrien Timber, Riccardo Calafiori, Bruno Guimaraes, Kai Havertz, and Christos Tzolis all come into the team. The Greek international makes his return after being sidelined with a thigh issue since the international break.
