Racing Bulls driver Arvid Lindblad will start from the back of the grid for Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix after taking a fifth power unit of the season. Drivers are restricted to four engines per campaign, with any additional components incurring grid penalties.
The 19-year-old rookie finished seventh in Azerbaijan on Sunday, but his race was not without drama after he collided with teammate Liam Lawson at the final restart, leaving the latter down in 12th.
The clash between the Racing Bulls pair came seconds after Franco Colapinto hit teammate Pierre Gasly, who in turn struck world champion Lando Norris, sending him into the wall.
While Colapinto was handed a five-place grid penalty for the collision, Lindblad escaped sanction after stewards ruled his incident was a direct consequence of the Alpine driver's initial contact.
