At a show at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, the New Orleans native announced to the crowd that he’s now a member of the Roc Nation team.

“Is it cool if I just say it? It’s the Roc,” Wayne said. “You know I’m a member of that team now.”

Wayne afterwards put up the Roc’s diamond hand sign before continuing with the show.

The signs have always been there about Wayne wanting to snap a deal with  Jay Z for years, dating back to the days of Roc-A-Fella Records.

If this development announced by Wayne is true, it will mark the first time the Cash Money Records artist moves to another label in his career.

Lil Wayne had previously teased a deal with Roc Nation in 2015 which turned out to be just a partnership with Tidal.
