The legend of Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid is poised for a sequel. According to The Athletic, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. is currently training at the *Merengues'* academy with a view to joining the club next season.
The newspaper reports that 'Cristianinho' is working with the U16 squad, and there's a strong possibility he will leave Al Nassr, where his father also plays, to move to the Spanish capital next season.
The forward, who is already a Portugal U16 international, could thus continue the legacy his father forged at the Spanish giants, where he remains the all-time leading scorer with 450 goals in 438 games.
Should the move to Real Madrid materialize, it would mark the first club Cristianinho represents independently of his father. The young player began his journey at Italian club Juventus, then moved to Manchester United, and subsequently joined Saudi side Al Nassr.
