Toulouse's Ligue 1 home match against Troyes has been moved from Saturday to Sunday following a request by local authorities, the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) has announced.
France has been hit by some of its worst civil unrest in years this month, with thousands of arrests made and numerous shops looted or damaged during nationwide protests against rising costs and deteriorating public services. Following the disturbances, a localized curfew was imposed in parts of Toulouse, which is set to expire on Sunday.
"At the request of the Haute-Garonne prefecture and in agreement with the official broadcaster, the match between Toulouse and Troyes has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 25," the LFP said in a statement.
On Monday, both Marseille and Lille reported that their official club stores had been ransacked amid the rioting.
