Public Preaching: Religious nuisance or a path to righteousness?
I appreciate the word of God and the men of God who are constantly making efforts to push the ministry of Christ forward.
However, do you ever feel like some of these religious public preachers [roadside and public transport] in Nigeria lacks religious respect? By religious respect, I mean the ethics and skills to preaching in public.

With all honesty, I would say YES, they do!
The amazing thing is I have tasted the both sides of the coin. I have heard touching spiritual words that I could connect with while in transit while I have also heard ridiculous Christian preaching’s too.
In September 2015, on my way to work, an old man with his megaphone was preaching about women and how they dress and I was ashamed to refer him as a CHRISTIAN.

He stated that all women who wear trousers are on the journey to hell. He highlighted that the only reason women are raped is because of their choice of clothing’s [which I strongly disagree] and that all prostitutes will burn in fire.
Here is why I strongly disagree with his form of preaching;
His preaching was filled with hate not love. He preached forgetting the greatest commandments of all, ‘’ and ‘’
Jesus who we are supposed to emulate was a teacher not a preacher. He communicated with love all the time not with hatred. [John 13:13]
Although we are not perfect, but putting ourselves in Jesus’s shoes, do you think Jesus would have condemned anyone, even the prostitutes?

Why can’t we adopt the serpent’s approach to convincing people? Analyse how the serpent successfully made Eve believe the FORBIDDENFRUIT was GOOD for her.
Although deceitfully, the serpent took his time to make Eve believe the forbidden fruit was good, the serpent talked to her as a friend not as a hater, made her feel relaxed and loved, then he talked to her.
What do you think of public preaching? Should it be banned? Or do you feel the current way of public preaching Nigeria is fine.
