The event delivered seven knockouts across seven bouts, meaning many of the athletes who competed on Sunday evening are now facing potentially extended mandatory layoffs.

On Thursday, Andy Foster, Executive Director of the California State Athletic Commission, provided www.mmafighting.com with the list of medical suspensions from UFC Fight Night at the White House. He served as one of the regulators on behalf of the Association of Boxing Commissions and Combat Sports.

Main event combatants Justin Gaethje and Ilia Topuria both received six-month suspensions following their epic battle, which many hailed as one of the greatest in recent memory. Gaethje emerged victorious after landing heavy blows on Topuria, closing both his eyes, and finishing him with a knee to the body, forcing the Spaniard's corner to stop the fight between the fourth and fifth rounds.

As a result, the Georgian fighter is medically suspended from competition for 180 days, unless he receives clearance for an earlier return from an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He also received a mandatory 60-day suspension.

Despite the win, Gaethje is also sidelined for 180 days. For an earlier return, he must obtain medical clearance for a potential right wrist injury, as well as undergo an MRI on his left knee due to the damage sustained.

In the co-main event, Alex Pereira suffered a second-round knockout loss to Ciryl Gane in his heavyweight debut. The Brazilian also faces a 180-day suspension. To compete sooner, Pereira must receive clearance from a doctor after undergoing a maxillofacial CT scan. Due to the knockout, he also received a mandatory 45-day rest period.
