Legendary striker's final season: I'm trying to enjoy every match, every minute on the pitch

French footballer Olivier Giroud is widely expected to bring an end to his playing career after this season. The former international turns 40 on Wednesday. At the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Lille forward became the all-time leading goalscorer in the history of the French national team, a tally later surpassed only by Kylian Mbappé.
