The Frenchman was a guest at the game featuring his two former teams, and he emphasized his desire to finish his career in the black-and-white jersey.
"I've always said I want to finish my career at Partizan. That's my goal. We'll see what the future holds, but it's something I truly desire." - Joffrey Lauvergne
Playing time isn't important to him.

"That's not important to me. I just want to finish my career at Partizan and fight for the club." - Joffrey Lauvergne
Ostoja Mijailović mentioned the possibility of his return, but...
"I don't have concrete information, but I've heard the same. We'll see." - Joffrey Lauvergne
He was asked what it was like to watch a game between his two former clubs.
"Honestly, I always preferred watching Partizan rather than playing against them (laughs). For me, it was always a very tough away game, so I'm glad I don't have to play here anymore. Partizan won tonight, so I'm happy. It wasn't a game with huge stakes, but it's always better to win than to lose." - Joffrey Lauvergne

Finally, he spoke about his experience playing in Kuwait.
"Honestly, surprisingly great. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of life. Everyone speaks English, so communication is very easy. As careers wind down, many basketball players go to China, and I often heard negative experiences regarding communication and life there. I haven't experienced that personally, so I don't want to judge, but for me, Kuwait was completely different, a truly excellent experience. In December, you can have lunch on the beach, which is really pleasant. Our team was competitive, and we fought for trophies. Of course, it's not EuroLeague level, but it's always better to play somewhere you have a chance to fight for something than at a higher level where you know in advance you won't win anything." - Joffrey Lauvergne
