Fans angered over singer's lateness in Lagos concert

Concert goers at the Ms Lauryn Hill live in Lagos concert have expressed their anger over the late start of the event.

The red carpet was billed to be opened for 6PM, this was delayed till 9:53PM following agitation from the crowd. The doors to the main event hall were not open until 10:41PM. As fans waited outside the doors, Ms Hill's band could be heard doing a sound check.

The event officially kicked off at 11:04pm, and saw performances from Victoria Kimani, Tekno, Dil and others. The event was hosted by Steel and Vina as opposed to Basketmouth who was originally slated to direct the activities of the evening. The official event DJ, DJ Jimmy Jatt was absent from his decks as well. Both Jatt and Basketmouth was spotted earlier at the event venue.

Following the opening performances, Lauryn Hill and her band did not perform until past one this morning.
