Formula 2 organizers have announced the 11 teams selected to compete in the championship for the next three-year cycle (2027–2029).
Among the confirmed entries is LN4 Fusion, the newly formed outfit backed by Formula 1 World Champion Lando Norris. The team effectively replaces AIX Racing, which exits Formula 2 following a four-year stint on the grid. LN4 Fusion is also set to join Formula 3 next season, taking over AIX's entry after acquiring the team's assets.
The remaining teams competing in Formula 2 over the next three seasons are ART Grand Prix, Van Amersfoort Racing, DAMS, Invicta Racing, Campos Racing, MP Motorsport, PREMA Racing, Rodin Motorsport, Trident, and Hitech. Consequently, the grid will retain its 22-car format, which has been in place since 2020.
