Lamine Yamal's father, Mounir Nasraoui, has sparked widespread concern among his followers following an unusual and deeply emotional post on his Instagram account. He shared a photo posing alongside Barcelona president Joan Laporta, accompanied by a direct plea for support.
"Hello, good morning to the entire Blaugrana family. I need help as an individual and a human being," Nasraoui wrote. As of now, he has provided no specifics regarding his struggles or the reasons behind his public cry for help.
The post quickly generated speculation online, primarily due to the explicit appeal directed at the Barcelona community and the candid nature of his personal request. The presence of club president Laporta in the image also drew attention, although there is no indication that he is connected to the underlying issue.
This unexpected message comes shortly after Nasraoui was involved in an incident at Barcelona Airport just before flying to London for the Ballon d'Or ceremony, where his son was among the nominees.
According to eyewitness accounts shared on social media, the altercation occurred at an airport restaurant following a dispute with a staff member over an unattended jacket. The confrontation quickly escalated, reportedly requiring the intervention of the Civil Guard. Allegations surfaced claiming Nasraoui spat at the employee and clashed with another passenger, even attempting to strike him with a chair. Despite the chaos, the player's father was able to board his flight and travel to the British capital.
At the same time, he also reportedly had a separate altercation with a Russian individual who attempted to take photos or record him.
It remains unclear whether the social media plea is linked to the airport incident or prompted by other circumstances, as Nasraoui has yet to offer any official clarification.
