The Lakers cruised past Miami in Los Angeles with a 138-117 victory, but post-game reactions caught major attention after the Lakers' broadcast duo took harsh jabs at Nikola Jović's performance.
First, former Lakers great James Worthy openly questioned who he even was.
"Who was that number 5 for Miami? He looked completely lost out there." - James Worthy
Seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry then followed up with an uncalled-for joke at the young forward's expense.
"Jokić. That's his whole name—Jokić, something like that. He didn't even play much anyway." - Robert Horry
Jović spent just six minutes on the court, recording two points and one rebound. He failed to make a notable impact for a Miami team that was thoroughly outmatched from the opening tip against a firing Lakers squad.
While the Serbian international saw limited playing time, Dončić dominated on the other end. The Slovenian star racked up 42 points, 13 assists, and seven rebounds, impressively making it his fifth consecutive game with at least 37 points.
