France harbors no fear of Spain heading into Tuesday's World Cup semi-final, declared Les Bleus defender Ibrahima Konate. However, he remains acutely aware of their opponent's formidable form and exceptional quality, noting that Spain has conceded only a single goal throughout the entire tournament so far, which occurred in their quarter-final clash against Belgium.

“We fear no one. We will prepare as best as possible now and hope that the result will ultimately be in our favor. Spain is an exceptional team with many individual qualities, so we won't focus on just one player, even though Lamine Yamal is a great footballer. We will remain humble; we won't fall into that trap,” Konate stated.

Spain has proven to be one of the most challenging opponents for Les Bleus. The French, who were 2018 World Champions and finalists in the previous World Cup, suffered defeats to Spain in the Round of 16 at Euro 2024, as well as in the Nations League semi-finals last year.
