KK Crvena Zvezda to get a new arena!

Basketball club Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet will get a new arena, announced Živorad Vasić, President of the Management Board.

Sportal and the Olympic Committee of Serbia are jointly hosting the national forum "The Future of Serbian Sport" this Monday, which you can follow live on our portal.

During the second panel, titled "Club Sports as a Generator of Growth," Živorad Vasić, President of the Crvena Zvezda Management Board, discussed the current situation at the club.

The EuroLeague winner receives funds for one good, solid player, but not a top-tier one. As you've seen, the state stepped in to help Monaco. Problems exist everywhere, and solving them is what makes sports exciting. We already have an idea for next year; a bright future certainly lies ahead for Zvezda. According to Vasić, the club at Mali Kalemegdan strives to provide the best possible conditions for its players.

Trophies are extremely important. But what we are most proud of is the significant strides we've made in infrastructure. We must be the younger brother to FK Crvena Zvezda; you see many young people there driving everything forward. Chima Moneke says he hasn't seen conditions like these anywhere else and is happy here. The public often isn't aware of how crucial businessmen and the entire Management Board are to the budget.
