Royal couple mark 5th wedding anniversary today

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge exchanged vows at the Westminster Abbey 5 years ago, the 2011 royal wedding ceremony was televised live across continents.

The couple got engaged in October 2010, in Kenya during a 10-day trip to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy to celebrate Prince William's passing his RAF helicopter search and rescue course.

Middleton's engagement ring belonged to late Princess Diana which she wore during her engagement to Prince Charles.
The couple who have been together for 12 years have two young children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
