The American has earned numerous bonuses throughout his illustrious career, but none are more memorable than the ones he secured at the UFC White House event.

In Sunday's main event, Gaethje delivered the performance of a lifetime, decisively outclassing the previously undefeated Ilia Topuria en route to a fourth-round knockout victory. With this win, he unified his interim title with Topuria's and completed his long-awaited ascent to become the undisputed UFC Lightweight Champion. For his efforts, Gaethje was awarded not only the "Fight of the Night" prize but also a "Performance of the Night" bonus.

For the historic UFC White House event, the organization increased the "Fight of the Night" bonus from the usual $100,000 to $400,000, and the "Performance of the Night" bonus from $100,000 to $425,000. This means Gaethje walked away with an additional $825,000.

As a participant in the "Fight of the Night," Topuria also received a consolation prize of $400,000.

The other "Performance of the Night" bonus went to Ciryl Gane for his second-round knockout over former two-division champion Alex Pereira. Poatan attempted to become the first fighter in UFC history to win titles in three different weight classes, but Gane defeated him instead, becoming the interim heavyweight champion for the second time and claiming a $425,000 bonus.

After this evening, Gaethje has now earned "Fight of the Night" 11 times and "Performance of the Night" six times, totaling 17 bonuses in 16 UFC appearances.
