Infighting in Ondo APC takes new dimension

The division that has crept into the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in the build up to the November 26, 2016, gubernatorial election, has taken a new coloration as staff members at the party's secretariat, were welcomed to a strange sight where 'juju' items were found planted at the entrance by some aggrieved members.

The disharmony that has been rocking the party in the past few months stemmed from allegations of an imposition of candidates by a godfather who is not even from the state and that has tore members apart as the state chairman and his supporters have vowed to resist any such moves.

The crisis, according to insiders, could cause the party the state as the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), seems to have its house in order as they look set for the election.
