The first quarter in Pesaro concluded with the "Eagles" leading 20:19, thanks to a brilliant three-pointer from Jovan Novak.

Novak sank the shot from nearly ten meters out, right as the buzzer sounded. The Serbian point guard, despite being heavily guarded, wasn't deterred, hitting a one-legged fadeaway – a signature move – to stun the home crowd.

This was his first attempt of the game, and Novak also contributed a steal and an assist in the opening quarter.
