The game was an offensive showcase from both sides, but the home team, led by its biggest stars, managed to break the Texans' resistance and secure a crucial victory as the regular season winds down.

The undisputed hero of the victory was Jamal Murray, who delivered one of the best performances of his career, scoring an incredible 53 points. The Canadian guard was virtually unstoppable, hitting shots from all over the court, including an impressive 9-for-14 from three-point range.

Murray took charge when the game was on the line, and his 19 made field goals drove the Dallas defense crazy. They had no answer for his aggressiveness and precision throughout his 41 minutes on the court.

However, what makes this game historic is Nikola Jokić's incredible all-around performance. The Serbian center once again showed why he is the leading candidate for the league's Most Valuable Player, finishing the game with extraordinary numbers: 23 points, 21 rebounds, and an unbelievable 19 assists.

Jokić was the absolute floor general for the Nuggets, constantly finding open teammates and dominating under the basket. He came just shy of achieving the rare feat of recording 20+ in all three major statistical categories.

On the other side, Dallas put up a strong fight, led by the young Cooper Flagg, who displayed his immense talent. Flagg finished the game with 26 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, confirming his rise as a new superstar in the league. He received significant support from Nigel Marshall, who added 22 points, and P.J. Washington, who posted a strong double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to match the high-scoring hosts.

A key factor in Denver's favor was the support from the bench, where Peyton Watson served as the game's "X-factor" with 21 points. Along with solid contributions from Johnson and Braun, the Nuggets maintained a high tempo that the visitors couldn't keep up with until the very end.

Although Dallas attempted a late comeback, the steady hands of Denver's players at the free-throw line and Jokić's control of the boards ensured the points stayed in Colorado after this basketball masterclass.

Nikola Jokić recorded his 194th career triple-double with a special distinction. He is the first center in NBA history to reach 6,000 assists.
