Sevilla is currently in the market for a new head coach following the departure of Matías Almeyda. Luis García Plaza has emerged as the frontrunner to take the helm of the Andalusian club, reportedly agreeing to a contract until the end of the season.
However, among the names considered was that of Manolo Jiménez. The former coach of AEK and Aris, in an interview with "El Pespunte," expressed his unwavering loyalty to his beloved club, stating his readiness to assist at any time.
"Of course, there's one team, Sevilla, that I would never say no to, even though they're going through a tough period. However, I believe this is a decision for those in charge to make, and I don't know if they've already chosen a coach," he stated emphatically.
The Spanish tactician further emphasized his deep connection to the club, adding: "They say I'm on the list. My phone is always open, of course, for friends and family, and Sevilla is my family, full of friends. So, if they call me, I'll be there. If they don't, I'll remain a Sevilla fan."
