Fresh off his recent visit to Nigeria, where he had an album listening party, the Classic Man, Jidenna, opened up concerning his career growth in a short video documentary titled Becoming.

The clip mirrors the singer's discovery of himself which was highly influenced by places he lived in.

Some of his comments in the narrative suggests that his father's passing has been a key factor in his growth.

According to the singer, the proverb, "You are not your own man until your father dies", became the awakening that transitioned him from boyhood to manhood.

The singer's visit to Nigeria was nothing short of amazing.
