Jessica Simpson Claps Back At SIDS Mom-Shamers With New Instagram Of Baby Birdie Sleeping

Jessica usually ignores all that crap, but now shes fighting back with a hilarious new Instagram post that poked fun at the haterade she dealt with last time around. In the post, little Birdie can be seen sleeping on her back. "I like to pose on my belly, but I love to sleep on my back #BIRDIEMAE ," Jessica wrote in the caption. (And tbh, she nailed it.)

The caption was a direct response to two Easter photos Jessica shared on Insta of Birdie. In both photos, shes lying on her stomach, and plenty of people pointed out in the comments that this isnt recommended because it can increase a babys risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Jessicas mom Tina (politely) fired back in the comments, noting that Birdie was only briefly posed that way for pics. "We stood over her and placed her in that position for a picture only! Enjoy the preciousness! Happy Easter," she wrote.

Reaction to Jessicas latest post has been way more positive, with people largely telling her to ignore the mom shaming. "Dont listen to the haters! You know your stuff. Shes beautiful!" one person wrote. "Beautiful! Most of us knew you were a knowledgeable Mom," another said.

Mommy shaming sucks, but its good to know that Jessica can at least laugh about it.
