On Thursday, the black-and-whites held an open practice for the media, after which Tonye Jekiri addressed reporters.

When asked what Partizan fans could expect from Friday's game, he stated:

"I think they should expect a fight. They should expect even greater determination to win the game and to play hard for all 40 minutes. That's what we've been working on throughout our preparations. We have new players, and we're still trying to get to know each other better, to understand each other and everyone's game, but the main thing we should all expect from ourselves is energy and a battle from the very beginning. To play hard and give the fans what they came for. I've always noticed that when you dive for a loose ball, when you play tough, take hits, and do those little things, the fans really appreciate it and reward it with applause. That's what they should expect from us."

Milan's center, Moses Wright, showed excellent form in the Italian Supercup. How do you plan to stop him?

"I think the team plays very well around him. It will take a team effort to stop him. He doesn't have a very pronounced one-on-one game. His play is mostly based on pick-and-rolls, cuts, and similar situations. We need to be focused on him and try to slow him down when he drives to the basket, especially when he gains momentum and goes to the rim with great speed. We need to respond physically in those situations. But it's not just him. I think their team is very high-quality. There's also Marko Gudurić, Hall is back... It's a very complete team, full of talented players. We'll have to do a very good job and try to slow them down in the things we know they'll play. That will be one of the main keys for us."

There are many new players at Partizan, but you were here last season. How would you compare the team chemistry?

"I think it's even better. The atmosphere is better. The guys we have in the locker room are great people and very hardworking players. The chemistry exists both on and off the court. We just need a few good games. I think the more we play together, the better we'll understand each other and be more willing to sacrifice for each other, to help each other, and do all those little things. That's what we're looking forward to. We're taking it game by game. But the attitude and work ethic are definitely there."

As a reminder, the match between Partizan and Olimpia is scheduled for Friday at 8:45 PM.
