Next World Music singer unveils album art cover for ''Oba Orin''

The singer is set to release a new album titled “Oba Orin“ which will feature the likes of Reminisce, Psalm jazzy, OritseFemi, Reekado Banks,9ice, Tiwa Savage, Mode9, and Ejor .The ‘This year’ crooner, has released two albums prior to ‘’Oba Orin’’ including  “Meet Jaywon’’(2011) under Kennis Music and ‘’This year’’(Odun Yi 2015)  released in 2014 under Jungle records. The Afro-pop singer is well known for singles such as ‘Filebe(2009)’ ‘Madantin’,(2014) ‘Thisyear’ (2014) and ‘Back to sender’(2015).

The singer recently put out a single titled ‘Jolly Muke’ featuring 9ice which will be on the upcoming album ‘’Oba Orin’’.

Jaywon exited his former label records Kennis Music in 2014.

Contrary to speculations that  Jaywon, had left Kennis Music, owing to a disagreement with the label owners, the singer has said that there was no such thing, as his contract with the label merely expired. “I have moved on. My contract with Kennis Music has expired. My exit from Kennis Music was not on an ill note. I have moved on but we are cool.”

The singer has gone on to floathis own label Next World Music and hopes to sign artistes later in the future.

It would be recalled that Kennis Music introduced Jaywon to the music space few years back with the hit single, ‘Filebe,’ which took the music industry by storm. Since then, the singer has grown to become one of the trending music acts, taking home the award for record of the year at The Headies 2013 for his single 'Thisyear'.
