Why is food before church service a bad idea?

Is eating before service good or bad idea?
Is eating before service good or bad idea?
Who said it was ever a bad thing to chew something before dancing, praying and singing for the Lord?

Wait! Why do people not eat before they attend church services? What is wrong with that? Are we not to take at least, breakfast before mass?

It gets really confusing when some christians say their pastors begged them to appear before God with an empty stomach so they could be filled with the Holy Ghost by the end of service. Huh? Are you kidding me!

The same breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal of the day to give you strength and the ability to carry on with activities before afternoon. So how can a hungry man listen to sermon when his intestines keep making noise during the sermon?

Then again, if adults can't eat, why are children exempted from this so-called rule? Are children not human beings like their parents? And to think nannies, mothers and even ushers have to use their strength to prevent these running-around kids from disturbing the service. *Rolling my eyes*.

What if someone faints in church because of hunger. Will the congregation be told he/she was caught by the Holy Spirit? What if he dies? Did the Holy Spirit kill him too?

Anyways, let me not sound like a rule-bender or someone who doesn't make rules too. So, i get it that some people fast before service and break it after it. Others don;t just love to eat early in the morning but hope you do even when the pastor is trying to drag that service in the name of another offering time for church project. At least get a malt can or some bread outside the church building.

Others fear running stomachs which, I like you reading this wouldn't want to see them sweating like grave diggers in church just because ''shit de almost drop from their pants!''. So, I get all that.

But sha, me go still put sometin for belle before i show for God face oh! Abi na sin be that?
