Karl-Anthony Towns chipped in with a 19-point, 13-rebound double-double, while OG Anunoby added 23 points. Jordan Clarkson contributed 18 points, and Landry Shamet scored 14. Both Towns and Shamet shook off first-half injury scares—Towns hurt his left wrist after a collision with Noah Essengue, while Shamet rolled his right ankle following a high-flying dunk—before returning to action following brief trips to the locker room.

Chicago squandered a 19-point second-half lead, suffering their fourth defeat in five games. Norman Powell led the Bulls with an efficient 30 points, shooting 10-of-15 from the floor. Caleb Wilson added 20 points, while Matas Buzelis chipped in 17, crossing the 2,000 career-point milestone. Jalen Smith also produced a strong double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds for Chicago, who knocked down 18 of their 42 attempts from beyond the arc.

The first half wrapped up in sensational fashion when Tre Jones drained a buzzer-beating half-court shot to give Chicago a 62-56 lead at the break. However, the Knicks seized control in the final frame with a decisive 10-2 surge, sparked by a Clarkson mid-range jumper and capped by a Brunson bucket to make it 124-114 with 3:45 remaining.

Although the Bulls pulled within three at 130-127 with just 46 seconds left on the clock, Powell missed a potential game-tying three-pointer, allowing Brunson and Anunoby to ice the win from the charity stripe with three clutch free throws.

Both teams return to the court on Friday, with the Knicks traveling to take on the Philadelphia 76ers and the Bulls visiting the Boston Celtics.
