Its A Wrap! True Blood Series Set to End Next Year

In a statement released by HBO president, Michael Lombardo confirmed the end of the show and expressed sadness at the end of the show but stated that he looked forward to what was poised to be «a fantastic final chapter of this incredible show».

The show's seventh season and series finale is scheduled to air next summer with ten episodes and will focus on examining the relationship between humans and vampires as promised in the series first season.
