Italy Announces Roster: Here's Who Awaits Serbia in Crucial World Cup Qualifier!

Serbia will field a near full-strength squad for these two crucial matches, making it clear that two victories will significantly boost the Eagles' chances of qualifying for the FIBA World Cup.

Our national team faces Iceland in Belgrade on Friday, a match that, on paper, shouldn't pose a major challenge for Dušan Alimpijević's side. However, the away game in Italy, scheduled for August 31st, will be a significant test for our team.

Before that, Italy will play Bosnia and Herzegovina, also on Friday. Luka Banki has now announced the Azzurri's roster for that encounter, which is highly likely to remain the same for the clash against Serbia.

The squad features Simone Fontecchio, who will lead the Italians. Here's the full Azzurri roster: Nico Mannion, Darius Thompson, Stefano Tonut, Matteo Spagnolo, Tomaso Baldasso, Riccardo Rosetti, Leonardo Conti, Simone Fontecchio, Saliou Niang, Giampaolo Ricci, Francesco Ferrari, Nikola Akele, Amedeo Tessitori, and Giovanni Emejuru.
