The Tuscan circuit frequently delivers some of the season's most thrilling action, largely due to its high-speed layout. Earlier this year, Jorge Martin set a new MotoGP top speed record there, clocking nearly 370 km/h on the long main straight.
The extension of the Italian Grand Prix's contract was announced yesterday, shortly after news broke that the Portuguese Grand Prix would also remain on the MotoGP schedule until at least 2029. The full 2027 season calendar is expected to be unveiled by championship organizers later today.
