The attack was reportedly carried out at the state government secretariat.
Reuters reports that four people were killed in the attack.
Other reports said two policemen lost their lives in the blast.
A photo, believed to be that of the suicide bomber, that carried out the attack was also released.

It would be recalled that Nigeria's terror group, Boko Haram, had pledged allegiance to ISIS in 2015 and renewed it in April 2016.
The Boko Haram sect has killed thousands of people and displaced uncountable since its operation began about seven years.
