Days before the Dutch Grand Prix, it was announced that Hadjar had injured his left wrist, sidelining him from the races at Zandvoort, Monza, and Madring. He was replaced by Racing Bulls' regular driver Liam Lawson, whose spot in the Bulls' junior team was filled by Yuki Tsunoda.

Following medical examinations and a simulator session in Milton Keynes yesterday, Hadjar has been deemed fit enough to resume his season. Expectations are high that the Frenchman, sporting car number 6, will be back on track in Baku later this week, with Lawson returning to Racing Bulls.
