The Red Bull driver made his return to the grid for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix and delivered a strong performance in Baku, finishing on the podium behind George Russell and his teammate Max Verstappen. After the race, he mentioned a slight numbness in his hand but expressed his eagerness for the Bahrain Grand Prix, set to take place at Sepang in Malaysia next week.

"It's been a long six weeks. I think this was the perfect moment to come back; I feel strong. This weekend, I took it step by step. It's very easy to end up in the wall on this track, and I didn't need that to build confidence, so I started slower, but it led me here. I'm very pleased. I'm completely satisfied, even though my wrist is a little numb. I'm happy. I can't wait to continue racing. The schedule is busy, and I'm looking forward to Sepang," Hadjar stated.
