The boat was used to protect the British coast for almost 25 years before being made into a hotel.
The boat, named Lilla Marras was used to carry out 105 sea rescues, saving 45 lives between 1955 and 1979.

The boat is currently moored in Harlingen, northern Netherlands and it is definitely more exotic than it used to be when it was used as a lifeboat.
Lilla Marras now has a big heart shaped bed and a bathtub that can fit two persons. The hotel is fully functional, and it even offers tours to guests.
The boat hotel is designed to cater to only two people, making it the perfect getaway destination for couples.
The lifeboat has gotten a complete make over, even above deck is fitted with armchairs and modern entertainment equipment.
The cockpit has been made into a dining room and breakfast is served there.
