The boat, named Lilla Marras was used to carry out 105 sea rescues, saving 45 lives between 1955 and 1979.

The boat is currently moored in Harlingen, northern Netherlands and it is definitely more exotic than it used to be when it was used as a lifeboat.

Lilla Marras now has a big heart shaped bed and a bathtub that can fit two persons. The hotel is fully functional, and it even offers tours to guests.
