Inter Awaiting English Bids for Thuram

Inter Milan is reportedly prepared to offload Marcus Thuram for a significant profit, according to "Corriere dello Sport." Aston Villa and Newcastle are said to be unfazed by the Frenchman's €85 million release clause.

This isn't the first time reports have surfaced suggesting Thuram's tenure at San Siro might conclude after the current season. The patience of the Nerazzurri management with the forward is reportedly wearing thin. So far this campaign, he has registered 12 goals and 5 assists in 36 official appearances.

Thuram has failed to score in his last 8 matches, and his performances in the absence of the injured Lautaro Martinez have reportedly caused disappointment within the club.

The Frenchman's release clause, valued at €85 million, will only be active during July. A move to a Premier League club appears to be the most likely alternative for him, rather than a transfer to Saudi Arabia.

A potential sale would represent pure profit for Inter, as Thuram joined the club on a free transfer from Borussia Mönchengladbach in the summer of 2023.

The forward has scored 2 goals in 31 appearances for the French national team, and his current form puts him at risk of missing out on Didier Deschamps' squad for the 2026 World Cup.
