The Coordinator of the group, Mr David Yisa, made the disclosure while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday, November 7, in Minna.

Yisa said that the intervention allowed the girls to continue their education with the consent of their parents.

The Coordinator explained to NAN that the group has also returned seven children who came to Minna by rail in search of menial jobs, to their homes in Kafachan, Kaduna State.

“We succeeded in uniting them with their respective parents through the support of the State Ministry of Women Affairs,” he said .

Yisa disclosed that the move was part of the group’s efforts to protect the right of the Nigerian child.

He also lauded the support of the National Human Rights Commission to the group.

Yisa went on to solicit the support of  traditional and religious leaders in educating parents on the importance of child right and western education.

He added that proper sensitisation would help parents to give proper training to their children.
