“The people of Venezuela have the full solidarity of the entire global football family during this incredibly challenging time. Football has a unique ability to unite people and offer hope, especially in times of crisis. We are proud to stand alongside the people of Venezuela and support the humanitarian organizations and local partners who are tirelessly providing essential assistance to those most affected by the disaster,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino, according to DPA.
