Finance minister targeted in shooting that killed one

One person was killed and 11 injured when shots were fired at an election rally in Colombo attended by Sri Lanka's finance minister, police said on Friday.

Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake told Reuters four gunmen shot in different directions from a car driving past the outdoor rally. He was unhurt.
