Police offer 100,000 rands reward for arrest of robbers who attacked Vuyu Mvoko on television
South African police will reward whoever can provide information leading to the arrest of the muggers with 100,000 rands.

The South African police have offered a 100,000 rands (about N1.6 million) reward for the arrest of the robbers who attacked SABC correspondent, Vuyu Mvoko on live television, BBC reports.

Mvoko was covering the arrival of Zambian president, Edgar Lungu to South African hospital, Milpark hospital, and had been preparing to go on air when he was attacked by muggers in the full glare of television viewers.
The robbers who appeared unconcerned by the presence of the camera threatened Mvoko with a gun when he refused to hand over his phone.
The video of the attack which Mvoko posted online has been viewed widely.
Police said the men took laptops and mobile phone.
