Gautrain and Bookboon to give free e-books to passengers

The Gautrain Management Agency (GMA) has partnered with Bookboon to make professional and business e-books available to passengers in South Africa.

According to SA News, the MEC for Roads and Transport Ismail Vadi said "Gautrain is delighted about the Bridging the Gap initiative, as we are aware that education in South Africa is expensive, especially the cost of books,"

Passengers will be able to download free online books from the Bookboon website in the field of engineering, IT, marketing, finance and entrepreneurship.

Bookboon is a free e-book service that was launched in London a few years ago.

It has now established a footprint in Africa with over five million free e-books distributed in South Africa and over 15 million across the African continent in 2015. All Africa reported.
