Communal clash leaves five dead

At least five people have reportedly been killed in a clash between two communities in Rivers state.

It was gathered that the two communities, Kpogor and a neighbouring township – both in Tai Local government areas, have been involved in hostilities for a while.

Details are sketchy as at the time of filing this report, but police in the state have confirmed the incident.

The state acting Police spokesman, ASP Grace Koko, said police have restored normalcy to the communities.
