Two days, innocent motorists were stuck in the crossfire as the Navy and Police fought in ongoing traffic.

According to Vanguard, both forces were fighting to control due to the presence of a senior NAVY officer, who was stuck in traffic at the always busy GRA Junction on Aba Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

An eyewitness reports that the situation worsened when teargas canisters were thrown by some of the Navy officers.

“The next thing we saw was teargas fired by the security men. It forced many to run for safety.”

Concerning casualties, the Police image maker in the state, Mr Ahmad Muhammad said no one got hurt.
